This cozy little pet-friendly cottage for a single or couple is located on the West Arm of the Kootenay Lake, in the quiet and unique hamlet of Harrop.
Close to the City of Nelson which is known for its trendy boutique shops, restaurants, pubs and some 350 heritage buildings that flourish year round. Nelson is described as, "the best art town in Canada".
The cottage is within walking distance to the lake, the West Arm Provincial Park as well as several other hiking trails. A short 4 minute drive to Sunshine Bay offers a public boat launch, pet friendly beach and several hiking trails along the lake.
The cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen, 100% cotton linens and towels, clean mountain spring water, high speed wifi, air conditioning, BBQ and a deck with a pet gate.
A 5-minute free cable ferry (24/7) takes your vehicle across the West Arm with gorgeous, breathtaking views of the mountains.
Summer bookings are weekly, Saturday to Saturday, May through September. A winter lease is offered from October through April. We accept pets, no matter what size or number! No pet fee!

The lake is only a short 10 minute walk where dogs are welcomed. Several public access points minutes away to drive down your canoe or kayak or boat.
